History Channel debuts new video game documentary

If you have ever wondered how the video game industry got started, then this documentary is for you. Premiering Sunday, June 16 at 9PM ET/PT on the History Channel, Game Changers tells the stories of the good, the bad and the ugly, it’s successes and failures of the people behind the scenes of the multibillion-dollar video game industry.

Directed by Academy Award director, Daniel Junge, this documentary goes beyond being in front of the camera and explores what has gone on behind it. Lawsuits, rivalry, beyond brilliant innovations, and true untold stories are just some of the tidbits that will be in this documentary.

The story is told in chronological order featuring the sons of the brilliant inventor of the first video game console, Ralph Baer, the co-founder of Atari, Nolan Bushnell, Trip Hawkins, Manny Gerard, Shinobu Toyoda, and many more experts in the gaming industry, this documentary highlights the programmers, engineers, management, and business practices they followed to compete against each other and becoming the gaming tycoons we know today.
